After all these years of wanting to go, I finally made the trip out to California to attend Blizzcon 2010. Got to go with my two favorite blizzard fanatics Justin and Lance.

Got a chance to scan some old old oldschool images back when I was in highschool. Looking back at these drawings that I did when I was 14-16 really brought back a lot of memories and makes me want to pick up the pencil again. I was an avid comics fan so thats where I got a lot of my inspiration back then. I'll post the rest later, there's about 30+ images at least.
So the new camera finally came in! I'm really liking it. I picked up the T2i with a 18-55mm kit lens and also a 55-250mm telephoto lens. I can't wait to learn more and get more familiar with the camera.
I took the camera for a test at the Roslyn Museum of Art (I think that's what its called). Got to shoot some nature shots and am pretty pleased. The second picture with the statue is actually my first attempt at an HDR photo. I took three exposures of the statues and merged them together. However, when I got home I realized I did it wrong! Instead of shooting 3 different exposures as you would usually do for an HDR image, I shot at 3 different ISO levels. DOH! Oh well it kind of got the same effect, live and learn I guess.
